Versant Capital Management, Inc. is seeking to add an Executive Assistant to our growing team. Versant is an independent, Phoenix-based wealth management firm. We are a team of experienced wealth management counselors and investment professionals that manage family resources around what’s important to our clients.

Job Summary

Under general direction, the Executive Assistant performs an array of administrative duties including heavy calendaring, correspondence, memoranda, reports, and meeting notes. They also support firm leadership, management, and the staff to ensure that Versant is a great place to work.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant can expect to focus in the following areas:

  • Schedule meetings and appointments involving multiple managers/staff members
  • Screen phone calls and take messages
  • Coordinate FedEx, USPS, UPS shipments
  • Prepare correspondence, cover letters, and meeting materials
  • Arrange and manage travel
  • Multi-task, organize, and complete projects
  • Provide overall support to firm leadership and management
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate functions and special events

Required Qualifications

The Executive Assistant position requires the following criteria:

  • Minimum, Associate’s Degree
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be organized, meticulous, extremely detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player prepared to work well with all levels of the firm, as well as with clients
  • Desire and ability to work successfully in a small firm environment
  • Proven understanding of how to effectively prioritize workflow
  • Previous experience in a senior administrative position
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, show initiative, and be proactive
  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Exceptional customer service skills
