Phoenix, AZ, September 24, 2021 – Versant Capital Management, Inc. announced today that Megan Kawasaki-Mason, a client associate at the firm, has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP©) certification. Megan is now authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP© marks. Megan joins Versant CFP©designees Thomas Connelly, Elizabeth Shabaker, Sean Campbell, Austin Anthony, Larissa Grantham, Matt Miller, and Brian Poe in achieving this standard.

CFP© certification holders meet rigorous education and ethical standards to evidence their expertise and experience in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and retirement. The CFP Board is a non-profit organization that serves the public by establishing CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification requirements. The Board’s goal in certifying CFP© professionals is to create competent and ethical financial planners committed to putting their clients’ best interests first.

Megan joined Versant Capital Management in September 2017. In her role, she helps to manage and maintain select client relationships, collaborating with the firm’s wealth counselors and research analysts to develop and deliver long-term financial planning to help clients build and preserve their wealth.

In addition to her CFP© certification, Megan also holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® (IACCP®) designation from the National Regulatory Services (NRS) and Investment Adviser Association (IAA).

Megan graduated from Utah Valley University with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. “Completing my CFP certification has been an important goal for me,” Megan said. “The CFP education, exams, experience required, and ethical standards have deepened my fiduciary knowledge to help me to better serve our clients.”
