My nearly 20-year career as the Deputy City Clerk and Deputy City Treasurer for the City of Del Rey Oaks, CA, prepared me well for my role at Versant Capital Management. Overseeing day-to-day operations, working with city officials, residents, and outside agencies was much like I do today to provide support to Versant’s clients, industry partners, and staff. Ensuring that everyone is well-cared for means that you genuinely have to love helping people. Whether it’s a reassuring voice on the end of the phone or guiding someone through a complicated process, knowing you’ve helped someone is the best feeling in the world.
I am a researcher and solutions-driven person. I’ve even fixed my car on multiple occasions just by researching how to do it. This just-do-it trait is helpful in my role as an executive assistant where I provide high-level assistance to a team of wealth counselors. They count on me to be resourceful and anticipate their needs to help our systems run smoothly and efficiently. I believe that your reputation is only as good as your ability to instill trust, and people won’t trust you if you aren’t consistent and reliable.
A native of northern California, I have an Associate of Science degree from Monterey Peninsula College. I moved to Arizona in 2018 to be near my daughter and her family. I love movies, documentaries, and books and will often quote them when an opportunity arises. I love to craft and watch old movies in my free time, and spend time with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
