Co-Chief Executive Officer
Royce Ramey, CFA, is the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Versant Capital Management, where he drives the firm’s long-term vision, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. He collaborates with Versant’s Wealth Advisors to deliver comprehensive family office service, drawing on his expertise in investment management, portfolio construction, tax planning, wealth transfer strategies, trust and estates, and family governance.
In addition to client services, Royce leads Versant’s initiatives in talent development, technology integration, service line optimization, and the professionalization of the firm’s holistic wealth management platform.
Royce joined Versant in 2023, establishing the firm’s Dallas office. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Chief Experience Officer at Tolleson Wealth Management in Dallas, where he was the primary advisor for private wealth management clients. During his tenure, he contributed to the firm’s Executive, Investment, Trust, and other key oversight committees. Earlier in his career, he provided family office services to ultra-high-net-worth families at GenSpring Family Offices in Phoenix. Royce is also a sought-after speaker, having shared his expertise through keynote sessions and panel discussions on organizational development within multi-family offices.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Royce graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Science in Finance. As a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder, he is a member of the CFA Institute and its Dallas-Fort Worth Society.
Royce is deeply engaged in his community, serving on the Board of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, where he chairs the Investment Committee and is a member of the Executive and Finance and Audit Committees. He also serves on the Board of the Dallas Zoo.
Outside of work, Royce enjoys playing golf and tennis, traveling with his wife to explore new destinations, and spoiling their Belgian Malinois rescue dogs.
