Phoenix, AZ – July 16, 2026 – Versant Capital Management announced today that Co-Chief Executive Officer Elizabeth Shabaker, CFP®, CDC®, has been appointed to the Charles Schwab Advisor Services RIA Talent Advantage (RIATA) Advocacy Board.
The RIATA Advocacy Board brings together leaders from registered investment advisory (RIA) firms across the country to help cultivate the next generation of professionals entering the profession. Board members share ideas, collaborate on industry initiatives, and support the RIA Talent Advantage Student Scholarship Program, which helps introduce students to career opportunities within the independent advisory industry.
“The future of our profession depends on attracting talented people who are passionate about helping families navigate increasingly complex financial lives,” said Shabaker. “I’m honored to serve alongside other industry leaders working to expand awareness of careers in the RIA profession and strengthen the pipeline of future advisors.”
Shabaker has nearly three decades of experience advising individuals and multigenerational families. In addition to co-leading the firm’s strategic direction with Co-CEO and Chief Investment Officer Royce Ramey, she mentors professionals and supports organizations that help advance the advisory profession.
“Liz has long believed that the strength of our profession depends on investing in the next generation,” said Royce Ramey, CFA®. “Her appointment reflects both her leadership within the industry and her commitment to helping students and professionals discover careers serving families.”
Through the Advocacy Board, Shabaker will collaborate with other RIA leaders on initiatives designed to increase awareness of career opportunities in the profession and encourage more students and professionals to consider careers with independent advisory firms.
