Thomas Connelly Appointed to Arizona Community Foundation Investment Committee
Phoenix, AZ – October 8, 2024 —Versant Capital Management’s Chief Investment Officer, Thomas Connelly, CFA, CFP, has been appointed to the Investment Committee of the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF), one of the largest philanthropic organizations in Arizona. ACF manages over $1.3 billion in charitable assets and supports a wide range of initiatives that drive community initiatives across the state.
Connelly’s appointment results from his expertise in investment strategies and asset management. As the founder of Versant Capital Management, Connelly has guided the firm’s investment portfolio for more than 20 years. His leadership experience includes appointments by both Democratic and Republican governors to the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) Board of Trustees, where he served as one of the longest-standing members. Additionally, Connelly is an inaugural member of the Financial Planning Degree Board at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business and serves on the board of the university’s student-run SIMM Investment Management Fund.
